PRESIDENT REPORT: Robert Brauer *NCSBA: PCBA had a lot of representation! Our very own TODD WALKER was voted Bee Keeper of the year! *NCSBA has committed to raising funds to build a new Apiculture Field Laboratory at NC State. *Thank you Lynn Wilson for overseeing the GAP report. PCBA was recognized for our years efforts. *Honey cookbooks are available $20.00 each.

FUNDRAISING REPORT Amanda Blanks spoke for Mac Blanks *400 raffle tickets are now available for Honey of the Year raffle. We encourage each member to sell 10 tickets: $1.00 each *Pick up shirts and hats from Mac or Amanda Blank @ meetings. *There are extra club hats and t-shirts for sell.
OLD BUSINESS COMMUNITY OUTREACH Robert Brauer spoke for Whitney Barnes *New library Display is up. Please go by and look at it. *Aug.17 is our next meeting, Aug.19 is National Honeybee Day. We will have a booth at Person County Farmers Market, Aug 25-26 is Personality. We need a morning shift and an afternoon shift for the booth. Please talk to Whitney Barnes.
NEW BUSINESS: AMERICAN FOUL BROOD Leila Gentry spoke about her experience with American Foul Brood. She lost hives but was able to keep the honey she took off. Don Hopkins(State Inspector) confirmed AMF. She had to get a vet to write a prescription before she could order treatment from Mann Lake for other hives.
